Gina Gaudio-Graves recommends Copy Talk to everyone she knows, and I agree that it is a great service.
We used it for a while and we were happy with it. We also plan to use it again in the future.
You call in using your phone and just talk. They have a speech recognition system.
They email you back as well as leave in your online account, the written out text version of what you recorded over the phone as well as a copy of the audio file.
It costs $80 per month for unlimited uses of 4 minutes recording time per call.
A great use for the service is to prepare your blog entries. Just call in and talk about something. Then you will receive the audio and transcript so you can post to your blog in the tone of voice where people feel as though you are speaking to them directly.
Of course you can modify the audios (using Audacity for free for example) as well as the text before you post.
Now the real reason I wanted to write this post is that I got off the phone just now with Copy Talk’s Customer Service.
I give their Customer Service department an A+
I was on hold for one minute or less when I called.
I spoke with the rep for one minute or less.
I said, “I would like to cancel my copy talk account”
He asked, “what is the last name on the account” and I told him.
He asked, “what is the first name on the account” and I told him.
He said, “ok, your account has been cancelled” and I said thanks and goodbye.
I checked my account 5 seconds later on the internet and it verified for me…

This was the easiest service I have ever cancelled.I am telling you all this so you won’t be afraid to use the service yourself to see how it works out for you.

Every picture is available in both “thumbnail” format and in “large” format.
I know that I plan to make my own desktop wallpaper using their large photos. I just have to decide which picture I want to use. I have so many favorites.
May I suggest that you may too want to create your own screensaver with your favorite picture.
