Facebook conversation between Monique Briand and Lynn Hepburn

Today I had a Facebook conversation with an old best friend of mine from when I was in High School, Lynn (Heffernan) Hepburn.

Do you want to know how the conversation went?

Before I share the details, let me say that she said some kind words about me that I am proud of so I wanted to share them with you. Here is the type of person whom you can really hang out with and have fun with where it’s easy, which is something I value dearly.

Now before I show you the transcript, let me let you in on a little secret about something I am about to do…

I am going to further contact Lynn to see if she is open to rekindling our friendship since I am discovering that after all these years we still have things in common and we both have the same goal for life, being our happiest, doing what we love to do. I could visit her as early as during Easter this year in Peterborough.

That’s hard to say. I always try to keep a smile on my face. Life is too short to do otherwise:))))))

When I asked you what makes you laugh the most, I was referring to what activity makes you the happiest?

I am not surprised by your answer since I get this all the time. People don’t really think about what makes them the happiest.

People rarely do in their lives what makes them the happiest.

I just suggest that you give the matter a bit of thought and it will make me happy in return to help you do at least a bit more of what truly makes you your happiest.

For me, for example, I love masterminding with people who value what I have to say, with people who are open to my energizer bunny energy, ideas, inspirations and suggested courses of action. I love to collaborate with people.

The key here is in doing this with like-minded people who are eager for my contributions rather than with those people who don’t care about the same things as me and are more critical.

Oky Doky Girly Whirl…

I am most happiest when I spend time with my family. I am a real home body who really values every second I have with them.

I’ve also got the most fantastic group of friends who also happen to be my neighbours. It is impossible to be grumpy or unhappy around them.

Between my friends and family (including my hubby and kids) I am truly happy.

I am also happiest first thing in the morning just as the sun is rising.

I am a newbee to working out and now bike 7k’s or more if I have time. I am also happy during this time.

I have to tell you, you made the absolute best career choice!

When I was around you in high school you always put a smile on my face!

I miss those times, don’t you???
